It all started when…

where his interest in material and art turned into a passion for superior craftsmanship and thoughtful design. Later, Apprenticeships with master woodworkers in NYC and Philadelphia, PA started him on a diverse His consultation and fabrication services for creative professionals assists designers with problem solving, building plans, and construction.

He received a BFA from RISD in 2008 and was awarded the Ellen Battell Stoekel Fellowship to attend the Yale/Norfolk School of Art and Music. As a foundational force in creating his professional community, Yaron’s time at RISD led to collaborations with friends and colleagues in the architecture, fine art, and design world still ongoing today.

After college, Yaron apprenticed under master woodworkers in Philadelphia and New York City, as well as spending time in the set building industry. His relationships with artists and designers led to continued demand for Yaron’s construction knowledge and expertise, leading to the creation of Yaron Pardo Workshop in Brooklyn, NY in 2013. During YPW’s six successful years located in New York, the studio built its reputation on bespoke furniture fabrication, millwork and cabinetry packages for residential and commercial interiors, and fabrication and building consultation for artists. YPW took on a range of interesting projects while on the east coast, including historical renovations for an original home Usionia, Frank Llyod Wright’s building development community in Westchester County, as well as fabricating sculptures for artist Elizabeth Jaegar for exhibit at the Whitney Museum of Art in New York City. Interior design renovations and millwork projects Yaron Pardo Workshop worked on have been featured in acclaimed design publications such as Architectural Digest. 

In 2019 and after a decade in New York, Yaron and his partner Heather, moved back to her family’s apple orchard in her hometown of Aptos, California. With the move, Yaron decided to expand his services offered through Yaron Pardo Workshop and received his type B contractor’s license, creating Yaron Pardo Studio. Yaron’s love of superior craftsmanship and design continues to grow, with a renewed focus on creating great interiors. From helping clients design their dream kitchen to working with an interior designer to see their plans realized, Yaron Pardo brings professionalism, expertise, and a smile to every new project. 

In addition to his building and design work in California, Yaron Pardo works as an architectural designer and remote collaborator with architect Liam Turkle out of Hudson, New York. Yaron loves to stay up to date with the latest construction technologies and best building principles, continuing to take coursework on areas of new interest like green building and attending conferences in woodworking. Yaron is fully versed in the building industry standard software programs, including Sketch Up and AutoCad.
